Pump Station Service in Sevenoaks

Jonny’s Drains service and maintain pump stations throughout Kent and Surrey. On this occasion, we performed a pump station service in Sevenoaks, which we do every year.

After each service, a detailed report is completed and kept on file for future reference. Should remedial works be required, a quotation is provided on completion.

What’s included in a standard pump station service?

• Inspection of Wet Well (pump chamber)

1. Wash down Wet Well.
2. Check condition of guide rails.
3. Check condition of lifting chains.
4. Check condition of inspection cover and frame.
5. Check condition of internal pipework, valves, and fixings.
6. Remove, clean, and inspect float switches.
7. Remove, clean, and inspect pump (s).
8. Check condition of half way box.

• Control Panel

1. Take electrical readings for incoming mains supply.
2. Take electrical readings for capacitors.
3. Take electrical readings for pump motors.
4. Test high-level alarm.
5. Ensure control panel is correctly functioning.
