A Blocked Drain in Tonbridge
We were called out to this newly built property in Tonbridge because their downstairs W/C was backing up and it appeared their drain was blocked.
A CCTV drain survey confirmed there was a blockage of shingle and mud under the patio.
Believing the pipe was collapsed, we carefully removed the paving slabs and excavated over the area of concern. This revealed an inspection chamber had been mistakenly filled in during the building works and had led to the drain needing to be repaired.
As there was another chamber downstream, we removed the chamber and installed a new drain. Following this, we backfilled the excavation and reinstated the paving.
